Photo a Man Has Made A 'Dream House' Out Of Noodles For His Unborn Child
When food in your kitchen goes out of date, the usual thing to do is throw it in the bin - what a waste. Well, bucking the trend, one dad had the ingenious idea of using leftover, inedible noodles to build their unborn child the house of its 'dreams'.
How's that for recycling? Mr Zhang used 2,000 blocks of noodles that had gone out of date to build his new child a one-of-a-kind playhouse.
But this wasn't an ordinary playhouse that you can pick up at a department store. This one was bespoke, and came complete with a comfy bed, noodle bricks and windows.

According to the People's Daily China, Mr Zhang, from the northeastern province of Jilin, built the 'dream-house' for his baby to play in once it's born.
After spotting that the noodles had gone out of date, he had a lightbulb moment and got to work.
The playhouse comes complete with an accent wall made out of rounded packets of noodles, while other supporting walls have been fashioned using brick-shaped noodle blocks.
But Mr Zhang didn't just stop at the building's structure. He went to town with the decor too, hanging up some calming artwork for the baby to drift off to sleep with. Sadly, that's not made of noodles.

Though this may be the first time a house has been built entirely out of the foodstuff, it isn't the first example of someone using it to do bits of DIY around the house with noodles. Not by a long way.
In recent months there have been plenty of YouTubers demonstrating how out-of-date noodles can be used to fix everything, from car dents to toilet bowls.
One vlogger took the internet by storm when she made a false nail out of the popular carby meal.
After breaking off a tiny bit of noodle, the internet star ground it up until it was nothing but dust.

Then, sliding a small bit of silver foil underneath the natural nail, she carefully applied the powder using some nail glue.
She then added more noodle dust and glue before cutting it down using nail clippers, buffing it until it was perfect.
And at the end of it all, she showed off her fancy new nail - the only problem was that you need to make sure it's kept dry at all times, otherwise it goes soft.
Let's hope it doesn't rain while Mr Zhang's kid is playing in their new house.
